國語辭典本指舊小說中，江湖人物的暗語、暗號。後流行於幫會或某一特殊行業中，非局外人所能了解的語言，稱為「黑話」。
不欲他人知道的祕談和私語。《西遊記．第八四回》：「八戒在旁邊賣嘴道：『媽媽兒 莫說黑話，我們都是會飛的。』」
