- 書名,東漢班固撰。父班彪繼《史傳》而作《後傳》,六十五篇,固以其父所續不詳,又綴集史料,撰成本書。上起前206年高祖元年,下迄公元24年劉主更始二年,包括王莽的新朝在內,共二百三十年,有十二紀、八表、十志、七十列傳一百篇,其中八表和《天文志》未完稿,由其妹班昭續成,成爲我國第一部斷代史英文Han Shu(History of the Former Han Dynasty)
