草書 國語辭典
書體名。為書寫方便、快速而產生的字體，大約起於漢代。初創時稱為「章草」。將隸書草率寫成，簡省點畫，保存波勢。其字個個分離不相連綿。至漢末，相傳張芝脫去章草中保留的隸書筆畫形跡，而筆勢連綴，上下兩字時時相連，形成「今草」，即後世通行的「草書」。
