在臘月初八用米、豆、棗、慄、蓮子等煮成的粥。佛教稱農曆十二月初八爲臘八。是日,各大寺院用果子雜拌煮粥,分食衆僧,因有此稱。民間亦相沿成俗英文 rice porridge with nuts and dried fruit eaten on the 8th day of the 12th lunar month
